Thank you for your booking, we really hope you enjoy your stay! If you need anything at all in the lead up to; or during your stay, please don’t hesitate to give Alistair or Sue, the property owners, a call on 01434 220 390.  We’ve put together a few bits of information to make your stay as easy as possible, but if there’s anything else you would like to know just let us know.

Check-in information:

Check in is from 3pm.  Check out time is 10am. 

 Alastair or Sue will keep their eye out for your arrival.  In case you don’t see them, head to their house on the site; Pine Lodge so they can welcome you and give you your keys.  In the very unlikely event that you cannot find them, please call them on 01434 220 390.  A late check-out may be available on request; if you need more time please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate!

 

Parking:

Parking is available at the front of the lodge.

 

Amenities:

You will find everything you should need for your stay, in the village. There’s a Co-op, a paper shop, a post office, a bakery, a Chinese takeaway, a Heritage Centre and a petrol station. At the time of writing, the petrol station is open Monday-Friday 8am-6pm and Saturday-Sunday 9am-5pm.  Please ensure you have enough fuel to see you through your stay to avoid emergencies. There are a good selection of places eat and drink in this lively little village, with plenty of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms.

 

Arrival items:

f there is anything in particular you would like us to arrange for your arrival, please don’t hesitate to let us know.  A bottle of fizz, a celebration cake or even some groceries can be organised for when you arrive. 

 

What we do and don’t provide:

This is a self-catering accommodation so there are certain things we do and don’t provide. Here are a few points but if there is anything else you’re unsure of please feel free to contact us directly.

✓We will provide linen for your stay – the beds will be made up and ready for you to jump in to!  Towel packs are provided in the guest rooms and can be provided at a £4 supplement in the lodges.  Please let Alastair and Sue know if you have booked a lodge and would like towels as these need to be booked in advance.  Payment can be made on arrival.

✓A high chair and travel cot are available on request and are subject to availability; please let Alastair and Sue know if you require these ahead of your stay so that we can make sure these are available to you.

✓ Chances are you are keen to have a break from doing the washing, but there is a drying room with washing machine and drying rack which are available for you to use, should you wish to!

 ✓A BBQ area and outside furniture are available to use.

✓We will provide you with loo roll and some basic cleaning supplies.

✓There is a TV and DVD player in your room / lodge.  You may wish to bring some DVDs to enjoy during your stay.

✓Site-wide WiFi is included in your stay.

 

Pets:

We welcome your well behaved furry friends with prior notice, but we kindly ask you to treat the lodges and rooms as you would you own home and dry soggy dogs at the door before allowing them inside. Dogs are not permitted on any of the furniture. This enables us to make sure our pet friendly lodges and rooms are in excellent condition for our next guests.

We also ask you to clean up after your pets in all exterior areas and hoover their hair up at the end of your stay.

 

At the end of your stay:

We would be very grateful if you could switch off any lights and electrical items, wash any dishes, strip any used beds and give the lodge / guest room a general tidy.  As a matter of courtesy, we would expect the lodge / room to be left in the same condition as you found it in, to enable a quick turn-around to have everything ready for our next guests.
