This stone cottage (sleeps 3) is nestled on a quiet lane in the picture postcard village of Barrasford, and has beams and an open fire. On the edge of the Northumberland National Park and steeped in ancient history, this peaceful village has an award winning, friendly pub, serving excellent food. Enjoy fishing, golf, walking and cycling nearby and fabulous market towns Hexham and Corbridge are close. A stable door from the kitchen opens out onto the fully enclosed patio garden and open countryside views. The first floor features the gorgeous master bedroom with decorative fireplace, single bedroom overlooking the pretty garden and a warm, modern bathroom.

There is a good sized enclosed back garden/patio with decking and awning, and breathtaking views. There are excellent walks round the reservoir and fishing, woodlands trails, cycling and water sports are within the immediate vicinity.

An inglenook fire and range oven make this a real country retreat – with a pub just a mile away. Otterburn is steeped in history, being the site of the famous 1388 victory of the Scots over the English, and is nestled close to the banks of the River Rede. 2018 Tipi - Have a Third Night on Us
Enjoy a free tipi night any time in 2018 when you book in January 2018 – all the fun of glamping without any of the effort (third night free)! Hang My Hat tipis come fully equipped. Beds, bedding, lighting, lanterns, cooking equipment are waiting for you - just bring food, drink and towels. Tipis sleep up to 2 adults, 2 children - and 2 good dogs. Greencarts Campsite, on Hadrian’s Wall, near Humshaugh, is where our tipis live – gorgeous views. The Farm supplies firewood and a wood basket at a small cost.
